The next meeting with Aastha turned out to be an important chapter in our lives. You never know what destiny have stored for you.
When I met her on the very next day, I was unusually quiet and had no plans to do anything mischievous, let alone taking revenge from Aastha. I entered the classroom; the day wasn’t good in school at all. I joined my friends on our reserved seats. Aastha was late that day for class, but was looking very cheerful and pretty. You may say she was the “star of the day” and that was more than enough to ruin my mood further. Everybody in the coaching, come to know how we treated a new kiddo in the class and the lesson that was thought to us by Aastha and our teacher. My friends were feeling sorry for the whole mess up and wanted to regret for the same (I think my male friends were attracted to her). I wasn’t keen to do that though (Ego problems). But my friends somehow convinced me and dragged me to meet her after our classes. She was outshining everybody in class with her intelligence and looks. I was feeling jealous as everybody was busy giving attention to her, nobody bothered to ask me the reason for my quietness.
Finally the class got over and I was compelled to meet her with a big smile. We waited for her outside the building. Although we just stood for 10 minutes, I felt like I am waiting for centuries that too for a person I do not have any intentions to meet. Finally AASTHA arrived, looking stunning in her blue denims and white pullover. And I have to accept she was looking like a diva with hairs falling on her face. It was more than enough to grab anybody’s attention. My friends pushed me to greet her but I was quiet. After everybody was over with their sorry and be friend rituals, I turned around to leave as I wanted to hide my tears (I never felt so ignored). I expected my friends to stop me and offer me a shoulder to cry but I was wrong. Everybody was busy with their chatters and gossips. And than somebody stopped me, I thought must be some friend. Guess what? It was Aastha..............

My first encounter with Aastha
So I was telling you who and how Aastha is. A damn confused girl I must say.
I met her in class ninth in my coaching classes. As far as my memory takes me back, I remember that she enrolled for the classes in late October. We already had a group of four in my coaching and she was new and yeah, very nervous (That was tempting enough for all of us to have fun with her).
I and my then friends had a bad habit of teasing or in straight words; one can say ragging the new comers. We planned to rag her as well. When we met her for the first time, we found her extremely mysterious as she was very quiet but her eyes were very curious, wandering all over the place. Being the backbenchers, we made sure that she won’t find a seat in front rows. Unable to find a seat any where else, she approached me. I welcomed her with a warm smile (I was faking, of course) and offered her a seat next to me. And then started the whole fun. (I know all this is mean)
Throughout the evening I pretended to be extremely sweet. (Hey, I am sweet but not with the people I don’t know) We were waiting for the class to get over. As the class got over, we encircled her, first asked her to remove her spectacles and then opened up her hairs. She kept insisting us to give her things back but we were mean. We hide her stuff in her bag only and said we don’t know about the whereabouts. What could you expect from the poor chap then? No, you are not right this time. She did not go to our teacher sobbing and complainning as we thought. She went back home quietly and left all of us amused.
It was only after we reached home, we realized something was missing from our bags. And we all were clueless. Next day when we reached our classes we complained about our theft of our things the previous day. Guess what? Our teacher was smiling and I saw that girl sitting on the seat next to mine, smiling too. We realized it was all planned to teach us a lesson and she saw us hiding her specs and all in her back. I learnt my lesson as what she hided from my bag was a mathematics book and I had a class test two days later. But I didn’t forgive her at that time and thought of taking further revenge as I felt she made a mockery of us in front of every body. To know what we did and how that help us built an everlasting bond, wait for the next post…………..

Aastha---an intriguing story
Ahhhhh….I finally got the time to write something………..for my own. It’s after a long time I am writing something else apart from tours, packages and destinations….What a welcome respite. Not like I don’t like my work, its pretty interesting to learn and write about the places you have never been to but sometimes it become monotonous. But this is the way life is. But indeed you need a break to let your creative ideas to blossom. And I finally got that. Now again the same insane question……What to write?
But this time I am not that confused…May be a bit.
I am thinking to start sharing a story………..a story of a friend ……who is a big mystery for me….. (and like all those filmy and silly ideas, I am not talking about discreet me)
She is somebody I know from past few years only. But because of her over impulsive nature (Ya, she is a bit like me only) she invariably makes me curious and it seems like she is a very intriguing question for herself…..always damn confused.
This time I will just introduce her to you. (She gave me a permission to share her story but not to mention her real name as we have few common friends)
Let’s assume her name as Aastha…a sweet and ordinary looking girl in her early twenties…….. (We both are of same age; I meet her in my coaching classes.) Currently she is working in an international call centre (she wanted to become a doctor first, and then thought of being an airhostess, later a teacher, then an HR and finally she is happy working as a senior manager in a BPO) and we hardly get time to meet. She is quiet matured (her nature, chirpiness and the habit of giggling and talking all time will not let you believe all that, I m sure you know looks are normally deceptive). Her life seems like a kaleidoscope, a perfect potpourri of several spicy Bollywood films. Lots of romance, grief and tears…… (Hey, she is a normal girl but problems never leave her alone). Sometimes she misunderstands others and sometimes others can’t understand her... (All this happen more often than you can imagine).
Ok, enough for this time, I have to go and meet her so that I could catch up what’s going in her life and share all that with you all. Gotta go… Bye.
